In your webclient view. Click into 'chat' on the left
Click the '+' button
Then select the SMS/Text icon highlighted below.
Add the number you wish to text in the box as shown below and click 'start chat'
make sure the number is in international format so all UK mobiles will be +447 start
Type in the text box. Press the arrow highlighted to send.
Any replies will land back in this chat setup as a thread of the chat
